Creating images with personality for a business that is all about technology and systems and works with clients almost 100% online is a challenge. When so much of the clients work happens through in-depth thought processes it becomes even more of a challenge.

Clients choose to work with me because they love my personality in my YouTube videos. It sells. I want the images to have that same vibe.

Layla Pomper

The key in personal branding photography is creating images that actually show how my client serves their own clients so they can build trust and build a relationship that is based on a brand promise.

Confusing? Overwhelming? It doesn’t have to be. Working together to create a well thought out roadmap makes all the difference in prepping for a photo session and DELIVERING images that SELL.

Let’s bring in the whiteboard to start brainstorming.

When Layla Pomper of Process Driven Co approached me to create images for her I was open to this unique challenge. Btw, Layla only received her images this week and she is already using them to market herself.

This image was posted in Layla’s Facebook group while I was writing this blog post. Talk about perfect timing.

Let me share some of the images with you and the intent behind them. A typical branding photo session includes multiple stories or content ideas. Each business brand story is different and so for Layla’s story it was all about visually creating what goes on in her brain as she helps clients bring clarity to complex processes.

Why is she playing with Duplo?

So much of Layla’s work centers around helping her clients think through workflows and systems to make life easier and more productive. Sorting and building with Duplo allowed us to showcase this in a fun and easy to understand way.

Multi-use images are great year-round

A clean whiteboard, colorful markers in hand and she is off to brainstorm all sorts of processes. During our roadmap planning session we went through all kinds of ideas to help Layla create an image bank that would give her flexibility for many months to come. A clean canvas and tools like Canva, Adobe InDesign or Illustrator let you create many additional marketing pieces year round to keep your messages fresh and relevant.

Include your family and pets for some lifestyle branding

Husband Alex and their two dogs are a big part of Layla’s life and her clients love when the dogs join the meetings.

Planning with intention makes all the difference.

Creating personal branding images for Layla was a unique and fun challenge. This is something I love and thrive on. Each challenge allows me to pull out all the stops for my clients to create an experience all their own. It provides an image bank that is full of images ready to market to the right audience waiting for your services.
