I love all things Gatsby and so I was thrilled when my photographer friend Emily of Emily Brunner Photography asked me to be her second shooter for this special wedding at Hilltop House in Devon, PA.
Arriving in style from clothing to car was just one of the many special treats throughout the wedding day. As you can tell this is not my usual style of photo editing but I wanted to create a more vintage feel to the images to stay true to the theme.
Friends and family of Frank and Stacy honored the couple by donning Gatsby style dresses and just adding to the fun of this special celebration.
A beautiful symbolic wrapping of the hands with a piece of patchwork cloth to join the couple in marriage was part of the ceremony.
Let the wedding celebration begin!
What a festive and incredibly fun atmosphere all around. The Hilltop House in Devon, PA, offered a large veranda for seating and view of the dance floor inside the clear plastic tent just below the steps. Stacy had designed the floral arrangements herself and decorated the entire space (several rooms indoors and the outdoors) with elaborate flair.
Stacy's Mom and Dad had a bit of fun up their sleeves and surprised everyone with a staged police takeover. Gatsby style of course!
This was an incredibly fun wedding to be a part of and I wish Frank and Stacy lots of happiness and continued laughter in their married life together.
