Getting married at Laurelville Mennonite Church Center,a camp, conference and retreat center nestled in the foothills of Western Pennsylvania's beautiful Laurel Highlands, is connected with lots of childhood memories for both Grace and Brody. It was such a beautiful summer weekend to celebrate with both families who have such deep roots in this setting that added such a special touch over the festivities.
Getting Couple Portraits along the creek that runs past the camp was definitely a must, as well as inside the covered bridge right in the middle of the main campus.
What images are most meaningful to you? For Grace, her sister Anna and their two best childhood friends who are more like sisters is was a close-up of just the four of them. This image is now sitting framed in several homes as a wonderful reminder of their long-lasting friendship.
If you follow any of my photography you will know that I like to have fun. One of the groomsmen gave me the best compliment, "this is the most fun I have ever had being part of a wedding party". You'll have to ask the groomsmen for details yourself. Sorry, no further info!
A wedding ceremony is a special and sacred moment especially when the couple deeply thinks about their bond and ways to bring their guests into this moment. Grace and Brody passed around their rings nestled inside a beautiful wooden box and asked family members to pray a blessing. Very meaningful indeed!
We made it just in time to sunset hill for....well....tada...the sunset.
